Montana cities make list of best places for first responders

BILLINGS, Mont. - Firefighters often put their lives on the line to protect others, and they aren't the only ones. A new study looks into the best places for first responders. And it turns out several Montana cities make the list.
GoodCall analyzed nearly 1,000 metropolitan areas in terms of safety, housing affordability, job prospects and other factors.
The results? GoodCall said it found 100 areas offering a great quality of life and work for first responders. Those results show Montana is a good state for those men and women to live and work.
Five cities made the list: Great Falls, Missoula, Kalispell, Billings and Bozeman.
