Woman taken at gunpoint found safe; Suspect still at large

UPDATE: Law enforcement says DonnaLynn Russell has been found safe. The suspect is still at large. He is considered armed and dangerous.

 

Law enforcement is searching for a woman taken at gunpoint.

According to the Montana Department of Justice, 27-year-old DonnaLynn Russell was taken at gunpoint by 26-year-old Derek Bigman near Billings Thursday at 2:30 p.m.

The DOJ says Russell is a white female, 5'4", about 210 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes. Bigman is described at a Native American male, 5'10", about 177 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes.

The DOJ says they may be traveling in a silver 2002 Chevrolet Impala with MT license plate 3-43829B. They may be headed toward Lame Deer, MT. Big Man is considered armed and dangerous.
