Billings police investigating series of arson fires; Asking for public's help
BILLINGS, Mont. - The Billings Police Department is investigating a series of arson fires, and is asking for your help.
Lt. Neil Lawrence said the department is looking for any information about the vandalism related arson fires throughout the city. Lawrence said several dumpsters and other property have been damaged by the fires.
He said, between the end of March and the present, about 20 arson fires have been reported. Most of those fires have been set between the 800 and 2100 blocks Grand Ave. Lawrence said the recent dumpster fires were set in the downtown area.
